IFDS strives to operate with responsibility and integrity in all aspects of our business. We are committed to supporting the well-being of communities across our locations in Canada, Ireland and Luxembourg, and to reducing our overall impact on the environment.
IFDS has a strong culture of caring and corporate citizenship, coming from a long tradition of corporate funding and fostering employee involvement. IFDS actively supports a number of charities with a particular focus on children and education. The commitment shown by our employees on an ongoing basis creates and promotes opportunities for volunteerism, sponsorships, and donations throughout the year.
IFDS and its employees across Canada, Ireland and Luxembourg actively support the following charities and many more every year:

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint. This mentality is embedded in our culture and our business practices, which includes continually upgrading and investing in more energy-efficient technology and equipment.
We have a comprehensive recycling plan with six streams of waste to keep materials from landfills. In our offices, we recycle all shredded paper and paper towels waste. Our employees are educated on and encouraged to take advantage of organic bins and our different recycling programs, as well as filtered water coolers in order to reduce use of single-use plastic in the workplace.
Being green is a priority when we develop and enhance our products. In 2009, we introduced touch screen classification, taking a huge step in reducing our paper waste in a paperless business-processing environment.
